Jon McHatton is a key figure in the story of CARE INC. He served as the Chaplain of the Arizona Legislature in 2005 and played a significant role in the organization's inception and development. Jon's journey began when he was pastoring a small church and was introduced to a former congressman running for Governor. This meeting led to a lifelong friendship and a shared mission to honor God in government.

Jon's vision for CARE INC was to bridge the gap between faith and public service, emphasizing the importance of collaboration and service to the community. Jon's efforts led to creating the "For Our City" model, which focuses on bringing together leaders from various sectors to collaborate on community projects.

In his role at CARE INC, Jon has worked with multiple communities and regions in organizing events like the East Valley Mayors’ Prayer Breakfast and promoting collaboration among faith, government, and community leaders. His commitment to service and empowering communities has made a significant difference in the areas he has served.
